What does it evaluate?

The most important aspect of FOCUS is that it provides a scientifically measured starting place from where we launch the acquired concentration skills, whether it is a child, student or adult. The test gives an idea of how a specific subjects’ attention is measuring up against his/her peers. It measures for:

Positive constructs
  • Performance – the ability to complete a task in time and accurately
  • Consistency – the ability in achieving a level of performance which does not vary greatly in quality over time.

Negative constructs
  • Impulsivity – the tendency to act suddenly and without careful thought, reflection or considering the consequences.
  • Performance Decline – the deterioration of response/reaction time and or the likelihood of an increase in the probability of reacting incorrectly.
  • Distraction – the effect auditory and visual distractions have on concentration.
